Show the beneficiary and the planned use of gifts
Transparent donation campaigns identify the receiving organisation, explain the need and present a budget that separates delivery from administrative costs. When photographs involve vulnerable people, obtain permission and avoid revealing unnecessary personal information. Zakat-restricted gifts need an explanation of eligibility and distribution. A public fundraising total shows money pledged or collected, not by itself aid delivered to beneficiaries.
Report changes as well as achievements
Publish meaningful updates when costs, access or delivery dates change, and explain what happens to any surplus or unusable funds. Donors should be able to identify the platform's complaint route and the recipient responsible for implementation. Compare campaign evidence with receipts and outcome reporting where available. Clear reporting can make accountability easier without removing every risk inherent in charitable work.
