A contribution that creates no investment claim

Donation crowdfunding gathers gifts from many supporters for an identified beneficiary or cause. Contributors do not acquire shares, a repayment entitlement or a promised financial return. An Islamic campaign should describe its lawful purpose, the organiser's authority and the route from collection to delivery. A successful fundraising total measures money received; it does not by itself demonstrate that aid reached the people shown in the appeal.

Follow the donation beyond the campaign total

Before giving, examine processing deductions, withdrawal conditions and what happens if the target is missed or exceeded. Ask whether the organiser can change the use of funds and how contributors will hear about that decision. Zakat collections require separate eligibility checks, whereas voluntary sadaqah allows a broader charitable scope. Choose a campaign with a named delivery partner and practical updates such as supplier receipts, distribution records or completed-project evidence.
