Clarify what the advisers have reviewed

A Sharia advisory board may assess a platform's standard contracts, screening methodology and operating procedures. That role should be explained through the reviewers' identities, qualifications and the scope of their engagement. A certificate for one product cannot automatically cover every campaign, subsidiary or later contract change. Ask which documents were examined and whether any conditions attach to the opinion.

Look for independence and continuing review

Useful governance explains how conflicts are handled, who checks implementation and how findings reach contributors. Periodic review is different from a one-time product approval. Compare the oversight information published by financing, property and venture platforms, then request clarification where the offered transaction differs from the approved design. Regulatory permission and religious review answer separate questions about the service.
