Mali campaigns should identify the delivery partner

Islamic Relief’s Mali programmes offer an example of organised humanitarian and livelihood support. An independent campaign needs its own evidence of local delivery and should not imply affiliation with an established charity without permission. Where contributors expect a financial return, the proposal also raises regional banking or capital-market questions. Charitable intent alone does not turn a public investment solicitation into an unregulated donation.

Connect the target to a specific Malian community outcome

A water, farming or education campaign should identify the intended work, the responsible organisation and the method for confirming completion. Seasonal procurement and access difficulties should be reflected in the timetable rather than hidden behind a single fundraising total. For a revenue-producing enterprise, explain who owns the assets and how losses are handled. Donors and investors need different reports because they have different rights.
