Clarify the site, permissions and legal owner
A mosque-building campaign should identify the entity that will own the land and buildings, the project's planning position and the construction stage being funded. Separate land acquisition, building work, equipment and professional fees in the budget. Contributions described as waqf require suitable endowment documentation. Do not label all mosque construction costs as zakat-eligible; eligibility can involve significant scholarly and jurisdictional differences and needs an expressly stated, qualified assessment.
Include the costs of opening and maintaining the facility
A completed building still needs utilities, maintenance, accessibility measures and responsible management. Explain how those expenses will be funded without continually diverting construction donations. Trustees should disclose major supplier relationships and authorise payments against evidence of work performed. Tell supporters how unused money would be handled if permission is refused or the site changes. Practical construction updates and an intelligible governance structure help donors judge progress beyond architectural renderings.
