Morocco separates collaborative financing categories
Morocco’s collaborative-finance framework distinguishes investment, lending and donation activities. AMMC publishes the investment rules and directs readers to Bank Al-Maghrib materials for lending and donations. Participative banks such as Bank Assafa offer another route, based on bank contracts rather than crowd ownership. A project must therefore establish its legal category before presenting religious compliance as the main reason to contribute.
A Moroccan campaign needs both a money trail and an ownership trail
For an enterprise raising equity, identify the company issuing the interest, the account receiving subscriptions and the records proving each investor’s holding. A community donation should instead specify the local organisation responsible for spending and reporting. Contributors outside Morocco should check transfer arrangements and documentary requirements in advance. Neither a charitable purpose nor an Islamic banking reference supplies automatic permission for an unrelated platform to collect funds.
