Tunisian securities crowdfunding needs the correct authorisation
Tunisia’s Conseil du Marché Financier publishes the legal framework for crowdfunding investment in securities, including its operating rules. This route differs from a donation to an association and from financing arranged with Banque Zitouna. Determine whether the contributor receives a security, a repayment claim or no financial return. An Islamic description of the project must be supported by its activity and contractual arrangements.
Write the Tunisian funding plan before opening the collection
An investment proposal should show how capital will be used, the rights of minority investors and the treatment of an unsuccessful fundraising round. A social appeal needs a named responsible association, spending evidence and a policy for excess donations. Where supporters are outside Tunisia, obtain confirmation of the transfer documentation and currency treatment. Avoid promising immediate disbursement before the receiving institution has completed its checks.
