Belgian financial permission does not certify an Islamic project

The FSMA publishes Belgian crowdfunding information and lists providers authorised locally or notified from another European jurisdiction. That check concerns the financial service, while Islamic screening concerns the underlying activity and contract. A Belgian investor should examine both before purchasing a project interest. Donation and reward campaigns create different expectations and should not be presented as if they carry the same investor protections.

Make the Belgian campaign understandable in its working languages

An association or entrepreneur should explain the budget, responsible entity and contributor rights in the languages used to solicit support. For a donation, specify whether money is earmarked and how unused amounts are handled. For a reward, describe the product and delivery date. Platforms such as Ulule and LaunchGood provide different fundraising environments; neither the platform’s popularity nor a campaign’s ethical theme substitutes for checking its actual terms.
